Sept 2016 London, Brexit protests and counter-protests, hot humid muggy nights and a witness reports a man throwing racist insults at her literally melting into the pavement. All that remains is a shadow of a man inked into the floor, alive with vestigial energy.
Can the investigators unravel a tale twisted from the pages of a forgotten children’s book, a hidden past steeped in war crimes and witchcraft, and a spectral mistake that feeds on fear. Something has stepped into London’s story—uninvited, unbalanced, and very, very angry.
Unless the Folly’s investigators can unravel the tale and write an ending of their own, the next chapter may be written in blood.
