The world is ending. God is dead.
The source of our life, and that of the land dwellers lies dead in the river basin. Chaos stalks along our borders, ever closer to our hearths. Everything alive along the river is threatened or already dying.
What can be done? How did this happen? You are ordinary fisher folk who live in the body of their river god. You have fought in mythic battles before, and you still have your magic. Now it looks like its time to do it again. The chief priests call for heroes from among the river community.
What is your personal reason for offering yourself? But the Old Stories have teeth, and the dead do not easily let go.
Note: Absolutely no Glorantha knowledge required, absolutely no game system knowledge required. The scenario has already been play tested multiple times with people new to the setting.
