The sleepy hamlet of Swandown becomes the scene of a brutal skirmish when orc raiders face unexpected resistance.
This game is played on a map made of large hexagonal tiles divided into small hexes for regulation of movement. It is a cross between a tabletop skirmish game and an RPG. It uses elements of RPG (such as a DM who reveals information during the game) as an excuse to get a load of figures into a big scrap. It’s character-light and action-heavy. The rules are simple and generic and the figures have fewer characteristics than in an RPG. If you like intense character interaction and long sessions solving puzzles in the magical library, this is probably not your thing. If you like a tight turn sequence, counting hexes, and a lot of dice-rolling, then welcome aboard!
