Michelangelo, the greatest sculptor in all Italy, has been commissioned to build an extraordinary new church in Siena. He needs the finest marble in the world, from Carrara. Two consignments have been lost; you must make sure the third gets there. But why are so many people interested in ox wagons full of rock, from leather-clad road warriors and the Spanish Inquisition, to French spies and even the notorious rogue Florentine clocker known as “Count Zero”?
Welcome to **1510**, the mashup of history and cyberpunk, in an Italian Renaissance where all Leonardo do Vinci’s ideas worked, clockwork and water-powered cogent engines are reshaping society, and Church and Science are at war. Uses the simple and intuitive *Wordplay* system. No prior knowledge of *Wordplay* or Italian history required, but a willingness to riff off various silly book and film tropes and parallels won’t hurt..
