A Score to Settle

The Orlmarth Clan – that’s us – have been feuding with the neighboring Greydog Clan for longer than anyone can remember. What everyone does know is that those Greydogs can’t be trusted. They come over the Ridges to fight us, but we send those dogs back home with their tails between their legs. It is the way of the world. Some even call it sport.
Now everything is about to change. Chief Kornos of the Greydog, is about to bury the hatchet. News is that he wants to negotiate a peace treaty. He is even offering his daughter’s hand in marriage to sweeten the deal. So, we have been sent to seal this deal and I, Skapti Flatfoot, might even get myself a wife. You see, dad, sorry, Chief Gordangar, has said I should go woo her: Put an end to this feud. Problem is, there are folk who quite like this feud. It’s their way of life; what they’ve always known. Now, I’m going to wreck it for them. But Chief Kornos’s daughter sure is pretty…very pretty… I mean, Wow!
